I have always been passionate about travel and exploration. It is a great feeling to get out of your comfort zone and experience life from a new perspective. New cultures, foods, landscape, language, smells, sounds, tastes. You may not like all, but you can appreciate them. I personally prefer to include elements of sustainability. That can be as simple as seeking out local vendors that give back to their communities, offer eco friendly packaging, and taking mass transportation.
I have been to 27 countries, 48 US states and 10 provinces in Canada. I personally have many more places on my bucket list, perhaps more so than adventures. But with me, every place I travel, I always try a few new things!
A Bit About Me
I’ve enjoyed a 30+ year career in corporate America, traveling around the world for business visiting clients and attending various tradeshows, mostly in North America. But prior to my career I was a travel agent, and I was always planning at least one new destination for personal travel every year. As well, I was a snowbird and spent many years traveling from my home in upstate NY to various beach locations in Florida for the winter. I eventually landed in St Pete Beach and spend most of my time there when not in NY or traveling. I recently completed my Travel Agent Certification and am now a Certified Travel Advisor.
In addition to being a full-service travel agency thru Millbrook World Travel Corp, I will be hosting guided bucket list tours for various events and destinations, some with a focus on sustainability. If you know me, you know it will be an adventure and it will be fun!
